Our Story

It started with a search for honey we could trust

Our story began at our own family table.

Honey was part of our everyday life, and something my children genuinely loved. Naturally, I wanted to feel confident that the honey we were eating was authentic, carefully produced and worthy of sharing with my family.

But finding honey in the UK that I could truly trust wasn’t as simple as I expected. I wanted to know where it came from, how it was produced and how the bees behind it were cared for.

Then came a visit to Sweden

Everything changed when I visited the family of a close friend in Sweden, who are beekeepers.

I had the opportunity to visit their hives and see the process firsthand—from the care given to the bees to the way the honey was collected and harvested. There was patience, knowledge and respect behind every stage.

Then I tasted the honey.

Its flavour, aroma and character were unlike the supermarket honey I had become used to. It felt honest and distinctive—a reflection of the Swedish landscape and the care that went into every jar.

From our family to yours

When my family tasted it, they loved it too. That was the moment the idea for NordicBee began.

NordicBee was created from a simple belief: every family deserves honey they can enjoy with confidence—honey with a clear origin, a genuine story and real people behind it.

We choose our honey with the same care we use when choosing food for our own children. What began as a personal search has become something we are proud to share with families across the UK.
